Days of Jewish culture

The Chemnitz Days of Jewish culture look back on a tradition of more than 20 years. The formerly flourishing and active Jewish community with 3500 members (1923) after 1945 consisted of 57 returnees. Today the Jewish community consists of 700 members.

In occasion of the annual two-day festival “Days of Culture”, together with its members and partners the society of “Tage der Jüdischen Kultur e.V” assembles an extensive program of events.

One of the partners is the smac: in its foyer concerts, performances, readings and lectures are presented.
